A restorer's son provided hangar space for the Chief aircraft. Parts were inspected, some repairable, others needing replacement. Seeing a friend's Champ wings helped envision the Chief's wings. The sorting process revealed Christmas tins holding parts. Despite challenges, the project progresses, rekindling memories and the passion for flight. Uncertain about tail support, the focus remains on reviving the Chief.

The trailer was inspected and serviced before the trip. During the journey, they encountered a VOR and dropped the trailer at a farm for the night. The next day, they completed paperwork and loaded parts of an old airplane onto the trailer. On the way back, they navigated some road challenges and enjoyed conversation and comfort food.

The group visited locations with ties to aviation history, including the Wright Brothers' resting place and the Carillon Park.
